Summer Lee is a Brooklyn-based fashion historian, writer and curator. Her greatest passion lies in making fashion history accessible, and using garments to tell stories about people and time.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Communications and Media and completed her MA coursework in Fashion and Textile Studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Summer co-curated the graduate student exhibition The Roaring Twenties and The Swinging Sixties (March 2021), and has held curatorial internships at Girl Museum and the Historic House Trust of New York City. As a freelance fashion writer, Summer has recently been published by Enchanted Living Magazine, The Vintage Woman Magazine, and the FIT Fashion History Timeline. She also creates fashion history video content on TikTok, where she has accumulated +58.5K followers.
Additionally, she is an avid coffee drinker and quintessential Virgo.
