I have worked several times as a background extra through Grant Wilfley Casting. My favorite assignments by far have been for the The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, set in New York City in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Thus far, I have worked on all 3 seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, portrayed diner patrons, a jazz club-goer, a comedy club-goer, and a beatnik poet. As a dress historian, the chance to be fully immersed in another time period has been insightful and valuable.
